My Makeup Must Haves
Today i wanted to share with you my makeup must haves. I have slowly built up this collection over the past year and i use almost all of these items daily. So lets walk through them!
FACE:
Giorgio Armani Fluid Master Primer
Hourglass Illusion Hyaluronic Skin Tint
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow
MAC Stereo Rose Mineralize Skinfinish
EYES:
Eyelure Brow Control and Shape Gel
Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes
LIPS:
MAC Lipliner in 'Whirl'
MAC Lipliner in 'Soar'
MAC Lipstick in 'Pink Plaid'
NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in 'Sex Machine'
Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick in 'Bitch Perfect'
So as you can see, i like to keep things really plain and simple when it comes to makeup. I don't for the life of me know how to use eyeshadow so i don't bother which makes it a very minimal makeup routine. Also if you couldn't tell, my lip products are 100% inspired by Kylie Jenner (no shame). I hope you guys liked that and leave a comment letting me know if you love any of these products xx
Rimmel Review
A couple of weeks ago noticed that my primer and tinted moisturiser were running very low so i took it upon myself to head into the supermarket and ended up with these two products. Now these products have got some major competition. The primer is replacing my Giorgio Armani fluid master primer and the BB cream is replacing my Laura Mercier oil free tinted moisturiser.
First impressions on primer: Firstly i was surprised that it's actually a white formula as all my primers have been clear. When i apply it to the back of my hand it gives off a very dewy shimmer effect, feels lightweight and very hydrating.
Overall thoughts: After using it for a week or so i've come to like it a lot. It is very lightweight and blends nicely into the skin. It holds your foundation for at least 7-8 hours, only needing a little touch up throughout the day. I bought this with my sister and she's continuously telling me how much she loves it and how much of a good idea it was to purchase so i think this product was a hit.
First impressions on BB cream: This states that it's a 9 in 1 product being able to prime, conceal, minimise pores, brighten the skin and give a radiant finish. Those are the key thing i was hoping for and i got that. It looks and feels like a foundation but as i apply with my fingertips it just melts into the face and almost adapts to your own skin colour.
Overall thoughts: I needed something to replace my Laura Mercier oil free tinted moisturiser and this product has definitely done a good job. I'm able to apply this straight after my moisturiser and it feels hydrating, it gives a good amount of coverage, covers up any redness and gives the skin a glowing finish. I've been applying this most days when i don't want anything heavy or if i'm just going no place special. It's super easy to blend and overall i'm very happy with this product. For the price i'd much rather continue to purchase this over my Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser.

Summer Fragrances
With summer just around the corner i thought it was time to dust off my fragrances and get them ready for another year. I don't own many fragrances but when i decide to buy one i like to purchase them based on quality and lasting power. So lets get into my three fragrances for this summer.
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle: This one was given to me by my lovely mother as a gift. I haven't used it to often but i do really like the smell of this. I do find that i will usually reach for the other two out of the three however. The main notes of this incorporate patchouli, rose and bergamot as well as a vanilla scent.
Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede: This is by far my favourite Jo Malone fragrance. Jo Malone is my go to fragrance brand. Their products are long lasting, great quality, well priced and the scents they have are incredible. This one in particular is very floral. I don't find any notes stand out in this, it blends in together nicely and sits well on the skin.
Tom Ford Velvet Orchid: Let's be honest and admit that anything Tom Ford does is going to be pure luxury. This fragrance is quite pricy but it is amazing. I treated myself to this last christmas and still love it. I only need to use one spray and i can still smell it hours later. It's another strong floral scent but isn't overwhelming, it's actually quite natural. It has notes of black orchid, honey, rum and spices which you can definitely smell throughout the day. This fragrance ticks all the boxes as well as the Tom Ford Black Orchid one which i do sometimes use from my partners collection.
Spring Inspiration
It is now officially the second day of spring and it's still unfortunately cold but warmer weather is well on the way which made me want to create a little spring inspiration for not only myself but for all of you readers.
CLOTHING: Dressing for spring can sometimes be a little tricky as it's transitioning from cold to hot so you can't quite get away with dressing in summery clothes yet. My tip is to pair a summer item with a winter item. For example; a pair of distressed jeans with a summer top, a maxi dress with a cardigan. That way you won't feel the cold breeze as much but you'll still be in the high spirits summer gives you.
MAKEUP: I love to keep it minimal in spring/summer so when spring does come along, i love it to be more about the eyes than anything else so a slightly darker eye with very bare lips and cheeks. Gold and light brown colours look great on the eyes with a good black mascara then use a bronzer and nude lipstick or even a bit of lip balm and your ready to go.
Another makeup tip i have is to invest in a good tinted moisturiser. They are my everyday favourites in spring/summer. Theres nothing worse than sweating in a full face of makeup. With tinted moisturiser you even out your skin tone, cover the redness and adds a little colour to your face. My favourite tinted moisturisers are by Laura Mercier but this year i'm hoping to test out a few new ones so get ready for some reviews.
HAIR: Messy, beachy and out of my face. Exactly what i look for this time of year when it comes to my hair. You'll always see me in a slick ponytail, top knot or half up/half down. Hair shouldn't be much of a concern in summer, it's good to just spray in a little product to ensure it doesn't go frizzy and chuck it into an easy hairstyle.
My Winter Skincare Must Haves
For me Winter means dry skin. I have to start using many products i usually store away in summer and today i thought i'd share which products have been my favourite must haves this winter. I've included a clay mask, moisturiser and facial scrub. If your interested in what they are then keep reading!
I use this brightening facial scrub by Acure 3 days a week. I incorporate it into my shower routine to make it 10x easier for me to wash off. I love how this product is so natural and doesn't contain any harsh ingredients which may harm your skin. The product is easy to use, i just pop a thumb nail size on my fingers, mix in with some water and apply on my face. It really helps remove all the dead skin and does in fact give me a slightly brighter complexion overall. I am half way through this product and would definitely repurchase.
This product is like a holy grail for my entire family. My mum originally purchased this for herself and she loved it so much that she purchased one for my entire family so now my sister and dad also use this. It's exactly what it says on the packaging, a healing skin cream. I mainly use it on my face as a moisturiser and boy does it do a good job. It keeps your face hydrated all day. I've also used it on dry patches of my skin and has reacted brilliantly. I love how theres only 6 ingredients in this and they're all natural. This tub i have is 4oz which costs me $40 but it lasts so long depending on how you use it. I've had it since december 2014 and have only used a third of it. Love this!
I used to use this a lot when i first received it then kind of forgot about it but during July i rediscovered it and have started using it more frequently. It's from a brand called Michael Todd and it's a Kaolin Clay face mask. I like to use this once a week and put it on 30 minutes before i'm about to shower. This particular one is great for oily/combination and acne prone skin but i know they have other great ones that many bloggers have raved about. This is one that i love, my skin feels so smooth afterwards and helps draw out pimples and blackheads. The smell of this however is terrible and sticks around for a little while but that's the only downside to this product. Don't think i'd repurchase this just because theres so many others i'd rather try but this product is amazing and does the job well.
